Online entries: All qualifying online customers will go into a draw to enter the grand prize. All successful transactions of R 500 or more, with at least 1 (one) item purchased being a Vocal Your Local promotional product, will qualify for an entry into the grand prize draw.
In-store scratch cards: All qualifying customers will receive a scratch card to stand a chance to enter the draw for the grand prize. Only LOCAL scratch card recipients will be entered into the draw for the grand prize. Customers that purchase to the value of R 500 or more, with at least one item purchased being a Vocal Your Local promotional item, will qualify to receive a scratch card. Scratch card entries are only available while stocks last.
** In-store scratch card entries only valid at selected Office National Outlets.
3. Prize draw process
Online: All qualifying entries will go into a draw. One customer per Office National Members’ e-commerce site will be selected via luck draw to go through to the grand prize draw. The online entries draw will take place on 6 April 2023.
In-store LOCAL scratch card recipients: All in-store LOCAL scratch card recipients shall be automatically entered into the grand prize draw.
GRAND Prize draw: The grand prize draw will be done on a Facebook Live. The draw will take place on the Office National Facebook page on 12 April 2023.
4. Grand Prize
During the live draw, one person will win the Grand Prize. Four runner ups will be selected via lucky draw to win prizes to a lesser value.
The Grand Prize is a workspace makeover voucher to the retail value of R 40 000.00 (forty-thousand-rand), VAT Inclusive, and a R 10 000.00 (ten-thousand-rand) donation that will be made to a registered charity of the winners’ choice.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. Participation in this THANK YOU Competition/Promotion is governed by these terms and conditions (“the Rules”).
This promotional competition is conducted by Office National Africa (Pty) Limited and its licensees (outlets), Registration No. 2005/010011/07, Ground Floor, Building 4, Boskruin Village Office Park Cnr President Fouche & Hawken Road, Bromhof, Randburg (hereinafter "the Promoter" or “Our” or “Office National” or “Member” or “Outlet” or “us”). Office National hereby offers you the opportunity to participate in “Win a workspace makeover to the value of R 40 000 and a charity donation to the value of R 10 000” with the Office National VOCAL YOUR LOCAL promotion (“the Competition”). “Online” or “www.officenational.co.za” refers to any one of the independently owned Office National outlets’ websites.
It is deemed that a participant’s participation in the Competition constitutes acceptance of these Rules and by participating in the Competition participants are deemed to agree to abide by these Rules.
1. This Competition is open to citizens and permanent residents of South Africa, Lesotho, and Namibia over the age of sixteen (16) years;
2. Employees of the Promoter, partners, directors, members, as well as their spouses, life partners, children, siblings, or associates are not eligible to enter or participate in this Competition.
3. The Competition will run from 6 March 2023 until 31 March 2023. The Competition is an online and in-store (at participating Office National outlets) promotion. The draw for the online finalists into the draw for the grand prize, will be done on 6 April 2023. Online finalists will be contacted by 11 April 2023 via email. The grand prize draw will be done via a Facebook Live on 12 April 2023.
4. The grand prize will include a R40 000 workspace makeover voucher, (“Workspace makeover”), sponsored by Office National Africa (Pty) Limited, and a R 10 000 donation made to a registered charity of the winners’ choice. In the event that we are unable to make contact with a winner (per 10 below), another winner will be selected in their place.
5. To stand a chance of winning the grand prize, participants must either –
5.1 online: spend R 500 or more online, with one item purchased being a VOCAL YOUR LOCAL promotional item; or
5.2 in-store: purchase to the value of R 500 or more in-store with 1 (one) item purchased being a VOCAL YOUR LOCAL promotional item, in order to qualify to receive a scratch card. Only recipients of a LOCAL scratch card will be eligible to go through to the draw for the grand prize.
6. Participants may enter the Competition as many times as they wish, provided that Participants have adhered to the entry mechanics each time. In-store scratch cards entries are available while stocks last.
7. Winners will be notified by telephone or email. It is the Participant’s responsibility to ensure that their personal contact details provided are accurate.
8. The outcome of the Competition is subject to the decision of the judge or organizer of the Competition whose decision is final and no negotiations and/or correspondence will be entered into.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to carry out reasonable due diligence to confirm eligibility of participation and help ensure that the use of any such person in advertising or publicity for the Competition will not bring the Promoter or any of the Promoter brands into public disrepute, contempt, scandal, or ridicule or reflect unfavourably on the Competition as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion.
10. The Promoter shall not be liable if they are unable to contact any of the potential winners after three (3) attempts made within three (3) working days of their name being drawn, for whatever reason, including incorrect entry steps followed, incorrect contact details, inoperative telephone numbers or no answer. Such a potential winner will be disqualified and a redraw will be executed from the eligible entries.
11. If a winner fails to comply with any of these Rules or the Promoter’s terms of acceptance of the Prize, or if a winner refuses to sign the Promoter’s Indemnity in respect thereof, this will be construed as a rejection of the prize and to this end, without prejudice to any other remedy which the Promoter and its associates may have, the winner will be automatically disqualified and will forfeit the prize.
12. In the event where the Competition / Promotion is cancelled or suspended, all Participants/entrants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of the Competition / Promotion and acknowledge that they have no recourse against the Promoter, their employees, agents, partners, suppliers, sponsors, or promoters.
13. The Promoters, their directors, employees, agents, and distributors are not responsible for any misrepresentation (whether written or oral) in respect of any Prize nor in respect of any warranties or undertakings given by any person other than the Promoters themselves.
14. The Prizes are not transferable, and no substitution or cash redemption of prizes is permitted. Scratch cards may only be redeemed at the Office National outlet at which the scratch card was received, and cannot be transferable, and no substitution or cash redemption of the scratch card is permitted. The Workspace Makeover prize shall comprise a voucher that the winner may redeem on workspace products at an Office National outlet closest in distance to the winner’s locality. Lead times may apply to the redemption of the voucher.
15. Costs associated with insurance on the Prize, including extras such as fuel, licensing, servicing and repairs and additional accessories are not included.
16. A Participant who is awarded a Prize accepts the Prize voetstoots and the Promoter shall not be liable for any defect on the Prize.
17. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion and for whatever reason - to substitute the Prizes with any other Prize of comparable or greater commercial value or an appropriate replacement value in the place of the Prize.
18. The Promoter or Office National outlet will advise the winner when the Prize will be ready for collection. Once the winner has been notified of a suitable handover date, the winner will be required to collect the Prize within ten (10) working days of the handover date being confirmed, failing which the winner will forfeit the Prize, and the Promoter shall be obliged to move onto the next possible finalist.
19. If, for any reason, the Promotion/Competition is not capable being run as planned, including due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the n control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the draw, the Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to take any action that may be available to it, subject to regulations, including cancelling, terminating, modifying or suspending the draw.
20. Any Participant who, in the opinion of the Promoter, tampers or interferes with the entry mechanism or draw in any way, engages in any unlawful or improper conduct which jeopardises or is likely to jeopardise the fair or proper conduct of the Competition, or who does not properly comply with the entry process, will be ineligible to win.
21. The financial administration of this Competition will be reviewed by the Promoter’s Auditors.
22. By entering, a Participant acknowledges that personal information about the Participant will be shared with the Promoter.
23. The Promoter may require winners to be photographed and the photographs published in print media, social media, or to appear on radio or television when accepting their Prizes and/or after having received their Prizes. The winners will be given an opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and to participate in the Promoter’s marketing material in so far it relates to the Competition.
